DAY 2

Finger Lakes

Finger Lakes

Leave Corning and head towards Watkins Glen at the south end of Seneca Lake. Watkins Glen State Park is one of our most popular visitor destinations because of the scenery of the 19 waterfalls and the gorge itself.

In the village of Watkins Glen you will find dining and boat excursions. Seneca Lake is a long slender lake with wineries along both sides. Traveling up either side will be a beautiful drive and you will end up in the small city of Geneva. In Geneva you can walk the north shore of Seneca Lake. From there you can head east towards Syracuse to visit Destiny USA, which is the sixth largest shopping destination in the US, combining traditional retail, outlets, fine dining and entertainment. And, there are plenty of overnight accommodations nearby to end your busy day.
