UNITED STATES
California
With millions of acres of farmland, California leads the U.S. in agricultural production. The state is also home to famous cultural institutions and national parks including: Hollywood, Yosemite National Park, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Maine
Maine is the easternmost state in the contiguous United States, and the northernmost east of the Great Lakes. It is known for its rocky coastline; low, rolling mountains; heavily forested interior; and picturesque waterways, as well as its seafood cuisine, especially clams and lobster.
Minnesota
Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd U.S. state on May 11, 1858, created from the eastern half of the Minnesota Territory. The state has a large number of lakes, and is known by the slogan "Land of 10,000 Lakes".
Pennsylvania
It is the home to the Liberty Bell and the Declaration of Independence, both tributes to the city's revolution. Widely known as Philly, but formerly known as the City of Philadelphia , it is the largest city in the state of Pennsylvania . It is also called the City of Brotherly Love'.
Georgia
Georgia is known as the Peach State, but it's also the country's top producer of pecans, peanuts, and vidalia onions. The state's onions are considered some of the sweetest in the world.

Massachusetts
Massachusetts is a U.S. state in New England known for its significant Colonial history. In Boston, its capital, the Freedom Trail is a walking route of sites related to the American Revolution. These include the Bunker Hill Monument, commemorating the war's first major battle in 1775.
New Hampshire
New Hampshire, a U.S. state in New England, is defined by its quaint towns and large expanses of wilderness. In the north, White Mountain National Forest is known for winter sports areas.

Rhode Island
Rhode Island's official state name is Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. George M. Cohan was born in Providence in 1878. He wrote, "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy," "You're a Grand Old Flag." Rhode Island is known for making silverware and fine jewelry.
Louisiana
Louisiana's capital city is Baton Rouge. It is also home to the historic port city New Orleans, which is famous for its unique cuisine, jazz and spectacular Mardi Gras festival.

Michigan
Michigan is a midwestern U.S. state bordering 4 of the Great Lakes. It contains more than 11,000 inland lakes, spread across its lower and upper peninsulas. Its largest city, Detroit, is famed as the seat of the U.S. auto industry.

Oregon is a coastal U.S. state in the Pacific Northwest known for its diverse landscape of forests, mountains, farms and beaches.

Washington D.C.
Washington, DC, the U.S. capital, is a compact city on the Potomac River, bordering the states of Maryland and Virginia. It’s defined by imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings – including the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court.
