  • Welcome to New York City! Known for first-class museums, shopping, fantastic Broadway shows, excellent restaurants and a unique atmosphere, there is always something new and exciting to discover.

  • You will arrive at one of the 3 major airports and have the option to pre-book an airport transfer to the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Please contact us for transportation arrangements.

  • Upon arrival at your hotel, you will meet and greet your guide and check-in to freshen up before meeting in the Lobby for your first evening in New York City.

  • Enjoy a delicious dinner at a New York City restaurant.

  • After dinner you will visit the observation deck SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. Transcend 93 floors above the city and step into an immersive, multi-sensory experience with amazing views of New York City.

  • Today explore the highlights of New York City on a 6-hour guided sightseeing tour. See Grand Central Terminal which is Manhattans most famous rail terminal as well as a shopping, dining, and cultural destination. Pass by Bryant Park and the New York Public Library, which was founded in 1895 and offers the nation’s largest public library system. Explore 5th Avenue, famous for all its exclusive shopping opportunities and home to Patrick‘s Cathedral, which is the largest Gothic Catholic cathedral in the US. Pass by the Empire State Building, Central Park and Times Square, known for its flashing neon lights and giant digital billboards. Explore the area of lower Manhattan, where you will see the 9/11 memorial, the Oculus at the World Trade Center, Wall Street and the Charging Bull.  

  • A lunch stop to purchase lunch on own will be available.

  • After the tour you will have time to freshen up at the hotel before an early dinner at a local New York City restaurant.

  • In the evening tickets are included to enjoy a Broadway Show in the world-famous Theatre District.

Tuesday September 26th New York City to Long Island

  • Today leave New York City and visit Long Island. Long Island offers beautiful beaches, fantastic vineyards, a great dining scene and stunning mansions. 

  • At 11 am enjoy a tour of the famous Oheka Castle, a beautiful mansion. Learn the history of the builder of the castle - Otto Kahn.

  • After we continue to a Long Island Vineyard where we experience a wonderful wine tasting.

  • In the afternoon we have the opportunity to visit the Aquarium in Riverhead, adjacent to the Hyatt hotel. Explore the importance of marine life and the environmental preservation that works closely with the surrounding ocean environment. Enjoy a variety of exhibitions that bring undersea wonders to life.

  • Then hotel check-in where you will stay for the next 2 nights.

  • In the evening you will enjoy a fine dinner at a local restaurant.

Wednesday September 27th Long Island

  • In the morning, enjoy a 2-hour boat tour down the Peconic River and into Flanders Bay, conducted by Aquarium Educators. This adventure offers plenty of opportunity for hands-on exploration while promoting environmental awareness and education about the Peconic Estuary.

  • Explore Montauk, Sag Harbour and The Hamptons. Venture east to the end of Long Island, to Montauk - traveling through the magnificent special Hampton towns along the way.Approaching Montauk State Park, you will visit the Montauk Point Lighthouse, commissioned by President George Washington in 1796.

  • An opportunity to taste local seafood in Montauk before touring Sag Harbor. Founded in 1707, Sag Harbor’s port was the center of foreign and coastal trade and designated by President George Washington in 1789 as an official port of entry in the United States.

  • You will also explore Long Island’s playground of the rich and famous – the Hamptons. Pass by the beautiful, historic homes and mansions, the elegant shops and the delightful restaurants. You will see one of the best beaches - Cooper’s Beach -  and stroll and enjoy the beauty of this famous beach and explore Southampton Village’s shopping district. After being shown the major sights of the Southampton’s downtown, you will have free time to explore the area. Stroll along Main Street, taking in its many boutiques and cafes.

  • Return to your hotel to freshen up before having dinner at Jerry and the Mermaid, a Seaside Clam Bar and Grill  serving fresh, locally caught fish and locally grown produce.

Thursday September 28 Long Island to Poughkeepsie

  • Today we leave Long Island and travel to the beautiful Hudson Valley. A stop is planned at Woodbury Commons premium outlets, which features over 250 stores. Here you will have some time for shopping and also have the opportunity to enjoy lunch on own.

  • From here we will continue to Brotherhood Winery. Visit, tour and taste a nice selection of wines in America’s Oldest Winery, which was established in 1839.

  • The tour continues on to West Point, the United States Military Academy founded in 1802. Enjoy a 90-minute combined bus and walking tour of the story of West Point with breathtaking views overlooking the Hudson River and learn of its role in the Revolution, its famous history, along with stories of graduates who helped shape the nation.

  • Then we continue to Poughkeepsie where you will have dinner at Shadows on the Hudson, one of the premier waterfront restaurants in Poughkeepsie, with a spectacular view of the Hudson River.

Friday September 29th Poughkeepsie

  • In the morning visit and tour the Culinary Institute of America and learn about the school and tomorrow’s greatest chefs.

  • We then visit the Library of Franklin D. Roosevelt on the Springwood estate in Hyde Park. Enjoy a self-guided tour through the library and learn about the documents and artifacts of the former President and this important time in American history.

  • We then have lunch at Coppola Italian Restaurant in Hyde Park, a family run restaurant offering delicious home-style Italian food.

  • After lunch we visit Walkway over the Hudson- 212 feet above the Hudson River. The walkway used to be a 19th century railroad bridge and was transformed into the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world at 1.28 miles long.

  • Afterwards, check-in to your hotel and have some time to freshen up.

  • Later we visit the Hudson House & Distillery, which is the first of its kind waterfront destination distillery. The Hudson House is a former monastery and situated on an iconic 27- acre waterfront property, having both land and water access. We tour the Hudson House and the distillery and learn about the sustainable methods behind their small-batch spirits. Enjoy a cocktail upon arrival and a spirit tasting at the end of the tour, followed by dinner in the restaurant, either on the patio or inside the Hudson House with stunning views and delicious food.

Saturday September 30th Poughkeepsie to the Corning Museum of Glass and Ithaca

  • Today we leave the Hudson Valley and make our way to the Corning Museum of Glass, located in the Finger Lakes region. The Corning Museum of Glass is world largest glass museum, where you can browse 3500 years of glassmaking history in the collection galleries and see the display of thousands of objects of glass. You will decorate a pre-made wine glass with stickers, tape and more and then use the sandblasting equipment to blast fine granules of sand against the glass. When the stickers and tape are removed, it creates a very beautiful frosted appearance on the glass and you will have your own wine glass for continued tastings.

  • From Corning we travel to Ithaca, located at Cayuga Lake and home to beautiful waterfalls, nature, farm to table restaurants and Cornell University.

  • Check-in to your hotel and freshen up before dinner at a local vineyard or restaurant.

Sunday October 1st Ithaca

  • Today enjoy a 2-hour tour with 4 waterfall stops in Ithaca and around Cornell University. Learn about the natural history of the Finger Lakes, the history and stories of Ithaca and Cornell University.

  • This weekend is also the Apple Harvest Festival on the Ithaca Commons which is one of the most popular festival of the year. You will have time to have lunch on own, to explore, eat, drink and see Ithaca’s downtown area.

  • In the evening we enjoy a special dining experience at the Farm-to-Bistro restaurant Coltivare in downtown Ithaca.  Sommelier Laura Winter Falk will guide us through courses paired with carefully curated Finger Lakes wines to enhance our meal selections.  We will learn about the wineries, the grape varietals, and why each specific wine was chosen to go with our specific food.

Monday October 2nd Ithaca-Watkins Glen-Rochester

  • Today we leave Ithaca and drive to Rochester. In the morning, we explore Watkins Glen State Park, drive through the town of Watkins Glen located on the southern point of Seneca Lake. Driving along the beautiful Seneca Lake and we pass through the small town of Geneva before continuing to Wegmans, a food market which was founded in Rochester in 1916, for lunch on own.

  • After we visit Casa Larga Vineyards, which has been family run since 1974 and offers award-winning wine set in beautiful surroundings. The Vineyard occupies 35 acres of land and is located on top of one of the highest points in the Finger Lakes region. Here we enjoy a local wine tasting.

  • From Casa Larga we drive to your hotel for the 2 nights for check-in.

  • In the evening we will enjoy dinner at Dinosaur BBQ, a local favorite for hearty home-style southern cooking.

Tuesday October 3rd Rochester

  • Today we visit the George Eastman House (founder of KODAK), which holds unparalleled collections, encompassing several million objects-in the fields of photography, cinema, and photographic and cinematographic technology. Founded in 1947 it is the world’s oldest photography museum and one of the oldest film archives.

  • After the museum, we have lunch on own at Mercantile on Main, a food court with a variety of food vendors.

  • We then explore the Strong National Museum of Play, which is a highly interactive collection-based museum devoted to the history and exploration of play and offers the world’s largest collection of toys and games.

  • In the afternoon you will have free time to explore Downtown Rochester before returning to the hotel for relaxation.

  • In the evening we enjoy a fabulous dinner at the hotel.

Wednesday October 4th Rochester to Niagara Falls USA

  • Today we travel to Lockport Lock & Erie Canal for an early lunch at 11:15 am.

  • At 12:20 pm you will board your boat for your 2-hour cruise on the historic Erie Canal. The canal is a 363-mile waterway between the Hudson River, Niagara River and the Great Lakes and an important part of American history. Your fun and informative cruise will take you past five of the original 1800's locks, under multiple bridges while learning about the history of the Canal.

  • After the cruise we continue to the Freedom Run Winery for a wine tasting experience, before driving to our hotel in Niagara Falls USA to check-in.

  • Time to relax followed by dinner at the famous Anchor Bar, home to the original Buffalo Wings.
